Hello Reader, firstly - exam season is upon us in our house - if you are also in the exams season, here is your virtual hug 🤗 This week on the podcast, I share some background info on how I am using Claude in my business. Learning more about AI at AI Business World in the US last week honestly has been a total game-changer for me and I realised one big thing - the majority of us have only been dabbling with AI. There was a report out this week from the British Chamber of Commerce (and I appreciate these are UK stats but I assume that it is probably not much different where you live) - here's what they said: 54% of UK businesses are now using AI.
But only 11% are using it to actually transform how they work.
The rest? Using ChatGPT to draft emails. Summarising meetings. Generic tools doing generic tasks.
The number one reason businesses aren't going further with AI isn't cost. It isn't regulation. It's skills and understanding. Over 60% of UK businesses say they simply don't know where to start or what good looks like.
Sound familiar? The businesses closing that gap aren't the ones with the biggest budgets. They're the ones who stopped experimenting and started implementing. SO. COME ON MY FRIEND (yes I am shouting a little teeny bit) Here's how I want to help you - with the three day workshop next week -the classes are all at 6pm UK time and are all recorded and there is a workbook Day 1: We build Claude a proper brief about your ideal client — using your real calls, your real emails, your real language. Not a generic "my audience is small business owners" description. Your actual client. What they struggle with, how they talk, what they need. So when you ask Claude "help me design a new package" or "write a sales page for my workshop" — it already knows who it's for. The answers it gives you are relevant to YOUR business, not some hypothetical one. That alone is worth the $97. Day 2: We build a content strategy framework and connect Claude to Canva so the whole thing flows from idea to plan to finished asset. And you can re-use as much as you want. Day 3: We zoom out. I'll show you how to connect AI into the tools you're already using — Gemini inside Gmail to get your inbox under control, Claude linked to Asana to manage your tasks and projects. I'll demo it with those two tools, but the principles work whatever platforms you use. By the end of Day 3 you don't just have a smarter Claude. You have AI woven into how your business actually runs. Here is a little taster of how I teach A system. Yesterday on the train I met a very smart friend who said that she could see my mind worked like a scientist (I was overpleased with this comment) and I thought, huh, maybe that's why my kids are ending up doing Physics and Chemistry at uni.. proud Geography mum here... anyway.. back to you... This is for you if: ✓ You've tried AI but the answers always feel too generic to be useful ✓ You want AI that helps you make better business decisions — not just write stuff ✓ You're ready to connect the tools you already use so they work together It might not be right for you if you're looking for shortcuts to write generic LinkedIn posts for a month. That's a different workshop and honestly, not one I'd run. A few questions from this week: "Do I need paid accounts for these tools?" — Free tiers work fine to get started. We'll talk about when upgrading makes sense. "What if I don't use Asana or Gmail?" — No problem. Day 3 is about the principles — the demos just use those tools to make it concrete. "What if I can't make it live?" — All three sessions are recorded and yours to keep. "what time is it on?" - yes as usual I forgot to include the time... it is 6pm for three days - Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Anything else? Just hit reply. I read everything. Monday to Wednesday, 12–14 May. 90 minutes a day. $97 for all three sessions, the workbook, recordings, and a system that actually fits your business. We start Monday.
Let's do this together!! Louise x P.S. I built this because I kept seeing smart business owners get frustrated with AI giving them useless, generic answers. The fix isn't a better prompt. It's giving AI the right information about your business first. That's Day 1. |

Hello Reader, I think we should harness the use of AI as a tool, rather than it harnessing us (doesn't bear thinking about). I have been using ChatGPT and Claude mainly, and tend to try and start with my own stuff before I let 'them' do any thing else. It can be a bit messy. One of the bug bears I have about AI is how much time you spend correcting and editing stuff. Honestly, some times I think it woudl be fastter to go back to how it used to be. But that's not always efficient. SO. What...
Hello Reader, I love a good bit of alliteration. Content, Community, Consistency.. I have those words on a slide in a talk I give about LinkedIn regularly. In the interest of the letter C, today I bring you in the following order - Company Pages, CDP and craic. Company Pages Last week on LinkedIn, I saw the head of LinkedIn Ads Marketing comment on a post from Social Media Examiner that said the very first thing you need to get right on LinkedIN is.... your Company Page. I was surprised. Then...
Hello Reader, LinkedIn News Do you have a LinkedIn newsletter? There is a way to create a subscribe button hidden on LInkedIn (who knows why they make these things so hard to find!!) that is so simple once you have it. Here's the short video to show you how - let me know if you use it and if your subs grow! Conference News This week I confirmed our booking for our pre-conference drinks and nibbles which will be held on the sixth floor of the Ulster Bank HQ overlooking City Hall. If you can...
